It's really iritating when you have client that use a web hosting which is not using usual feature for managing files. This time i get almost deadly stuck with Yahoo Web Hosting Service that is supported by Yahoo Small Business. For me, i already get used to cpanel. And i think most professional web hosting would use that. It's easy to use, manage, and installing third party service for developing your site. For me cpanel help me a lot in helping me develop Joomla sites. But it's not t he way that Yahoo Web Hosting did on it's back end. You don't even see any fantastico there, dream of it! But Thank God, even it's not have many features near to cpanel, it still supporting database with mysql and php. And the good thing is you can still see phpmyadmin here. Which is help you a lot in case of database on Joomla.

Pada 17 April 2010, IDS menggelar acara pameran yang diikuti oleh banyak insan kreatif di Indonesia. Dan pada kesempatan ini, saya tertarik untuk ikut hadir dalam acara DeviantArt Indonesia dengan title Creative Space Devmeet. Sampai di lokasi, yaitu di Epicentrum Citywalk, yang baru saja berdiri di kawasan Setiabudi, sekitar pukul 03.00 sore. Dan saya sempat bertemu sapa dengan beberapa teman dari gantibaju.com seperti Anggi Krisna dan juga Aria Rajasa, Anggi berhasil merayu saya membeli kaos dari gantibaju. Saya takluk dengan tawaran beli 1 kaos dapet 1 kaos gratis, well kapan lagi, aji mumpung, toh kaosnya bagus, saya cukup puas dengan kaos yang saya beli dari gantibaju.com. Juga sempat berjabat tangan dengan tokoh legendaris Wahyu Aditya. Tanpa basa-basi saya sempat bertanya pada seorang panitia dari IDS mengenai acara Devmeet dan diutarakan bahwa acara tersebut diadakan di Lecturer room pada pukul 04-07 sore, syukurlah belum terlambat, lumayan bisa menyaksikan beberapa workshop dari teman-teman deviantArt yang belum pernah saya temui. Namun ternyata cuma satu workshop yang saya saksikan yaitu dari suckerhead, itupun terkait dengan design 3D, diluar scope saya sama sekali. Dan ternyata hanya itu, entah terlambat atau bagaimana, saya gak kecewa karena maksud utama saya untuk datang justru tidak tercapai.

Selain menggunakan telkomspeedy sebagai provider internet saya, saya juga menggunakan smart modem untuk kebutuhan mobile, seperti meeting dengan client atau bekerja di luar rumah. Saya sudah menggunakan modem smart hampir sekitar setengah tahun. Dan modem ini menurut saya cukup bagus, meskipun sinyalnya tidak terlalu stabil terutama untuk daerah-daerah tertentu. Namun ada satu masalah besar yang cukup merepotkan saya dalam menggunakan modem ini. Hal itu adalah saat harus mengisi ulang pulsa smart untuk mengisi paket baru setiap bulannya. Dan yang terjadi adalah saya harus membeli pulsa smart beberapa lembar, dan mengisi kode nya satu persatu. Yang tidak kalah menyebalkannya adalah setiap saya mengaktifkan paket baru setelah paket lama saya habis, seringkali saya tidak kunjung menerima report bahwa paket internet saya telah aktif, pernah satu ketika saya tanpa sadar kehabisan pulsa yang seharusnya saya gunakan untuk 1 bulan, ternyata harus habis dalam 1 minggu karena paket internet tidak teraktifasi. Padahal saya sudah mengaktifasinya berulang-ulang.

Last Sunday, April 11th 2010, my church held a Basic Photography Workshop. This workshop followed by 20 person, who have a camera and like doing photography activities. When that event doing, i just taking some videos in case of documenting it later to my church website. But after i think a while, i want to try to do the video documentation just like on tv shows. You know, i don't know what it call, that thing with name and notes about the person who is being interview. And do some cutting, and inserting song as backsound. I never did it before, but after try for a while, about 3 hours working on it (alone), finally i've done the video documentation, near like on tv shows or news. A good start huh? I think basic skills on graphic design and management help me a lot to make this thing done well. I think nothing really special about it, most people can do video editing. You just have to learn a while, of course if you really want to learn, and have trial and error.

Now if my client need a product photography services, i can make sure that i can provide it. Especially in doing product photography with clear white background. I never had any portfolio with this service before, but i'm sure i can do my best if i have a chance. And finally i have a project in doing an online store that needs a photography services. When accepting this project, i was so excited to create a good looking online shop website. Finally i finalize dapurceria.com, a kitchen stuffs online store. In doing this photography services, i wasn't work alone, i have my partner that working as a freelance photographer, and i'm taking care for the quality. We make it done in taking pictures of 80 products in a day. And after done the photo session, it still needs about a week to finalize it so it has a clear white background. Of course we use some supporting items in working on this product photography. For dapurceria we go to client place and make a flash-urgent mini studio there.
