Search term must be a minimum of 3 characters and a maximum of 20 characters. What if you want to search only 2 characters thing? Or you want to limit your search at minimum using at least 10 characters? Just go to /administrator/components/com_search/helpers/search.php See line 69

There is something maybe not suitable to your need when you search on Joomla Component, and it turns to blank page. It because Joomla Engine didn't find any content that suitable to your search keywords. But shouldn't it show some text or sentences that remind us that this search process is turns to no result? How to customize that search page on Joomla if it turns to no result found? - Create a folder in your template folder called "html" (if it doesn't exists)
- Create a folder in that html folder called "com_search" (if it doesn't exists)
- Create a folder in that com_search folder called "search" (if it doesn't exists)
- Copy the file .../components/com_search/views/search/tmpl/default_error.php - to .../templates/[your-template]/html/com_search/search
- Edit that file to display whatever you want to see.
- Save the file

 Beberapa waktu lalu saya menghadiri sebuah acara talk sharing dengan tema yang diselenggarakan oleh FreSh (Freedom of Sharing) "Social Entrepreneurship and Online Movement for Social Change" di FX Plasa, Jakarta, Rabu (24/6). Di situ menghadirkan beberapa pembicara yang saya kira mereka memang punya peranan penting di dunia Social Entrepreneurship, antara lain :

- Pandji (DJ, Celebrity and ACER's partner in C3 Movement)

Banyak hal menarik yang bisa saya kutip dari Talk and Sharing kali ini. Apakah itu Social Entrepreneurship? Kebanyakan dari kita mungkin hanya tau apa itu Entrepreneurship, karena itu adalah salah satu istilah yang cukup populer digunakan belakangan ini sebagai gelar orang yang kurang lebih dibilang sukses. Dan tentu saja dalam hal bisnis. Nah apa pula "social entrepeneurship"? Grace Sai from Books of Hope mencoba menjelaskan bahwa Social Entrepreneurship adalah usaha seseorang yang berusaha meningkatkan kehidupan sosial atau kesejahteraan masyarakat kecil dengan teknik bisnis yang tepat dan briliant. Mungkin bisa dikombinasikan antara Richard Branson from Virgin and Mother Theresa. Jadi dengan otak bisnis yang kuat dan juga hati yang penuh kasih kepada sesamanya yang hidup dalam kesusahan. Ada dipaparkan banyak tokoh yang punya peranan besar dalam dunia Social Entrepreneurship. Salah satunya Bill Gates yang mendirikan Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

 Many designers in every type, just like graphic designers or web designers still have difficulties to sell their designs nowadays. But there's also many designers who already stand at the top of the mountain. Is it hard to sell your designs? Maybe it's not for countries that already growing up, especially in a matter of advertising things, just like America for example. When people from a country going to a phase of realizing that branding and image of a product is important, they would start to give some respect to graphic designer profession. And unfortunately till today, there is many big company that cost a very low budget for a graphic or even web design projects in Indonesia. That's why many Indonesian Freelancers are working abroad, try to find clients from another country and put local clients at the end of the list if it should.
In Indonesia, it's really a good start, for many years late, many talented Indonesian people is growing really fast on information technology, especially on internet bussiness. I've seen many good and reliable Indonesian freelance web designers that really kick some ass at worldwide technology. Their works really have a thumb up and could be proud of. I know it's really hard to raise up Indonesian freelancers Quality image in a global world. But some of the new generation of Indonesian people won't give up on that. They keep working and show a quality in this global technology era (internet). And they did!

 Pernahkah anda melihat seorang pedagang kaki lima yang mengeluh karena ia kesulitan untuk mencari uang karena dagangannya sulit laku? Bisa karena banyak faktor. Lalu dia merasa apabila dia menurunkan harga dari produk yang dia jual, ia akan mendapatkan lebih banyak pembeli. Jadi dari sini ia bertolak pada pola pikir bahwa, harga murah menjadi jaminan untuk bersaing di dunia bisnis saat ini. Benarkah demikian?
Pernahkah anda pergi ke warung dan melihat donat yang dijual disitu? Berapa harganya? Dengan Rp 1000 anda bisa mendapatkan 1 potong donat. Bagaimana dengan di J.co? Dunkin Donut? Rp 6000 kalau tidak salah, sekitar itulah. Lebih murah dari donat warung? Nope. Lebih laku dari donat warung? Yes! Why? Padahal tidak lebih murah kan? Di sini lah point penting yang membuktikan bahwa harga murah bukan satu-satunya jaminan untuk bertahan di dunia bisnis, terutama jangka panjang. Ya saya akui itu menjadi salah satu hal penting yang perlu diperhatikan, tapi apabila dalam kuantitas terbatas/sedikit, tidak akan bisa bertahan lama.

 Today i got a shocking information from my friend, yudz. He's one of the best Google SEO master in Indonesia. He told me that today (May 28, 2009) is the page rank update of Google. I don't know where could he find this information from, but in immediately i fast check my page rank update from http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php
After loaded, i type in my web address there, www.yopdesign.com and what a good news, eventhough not raise too much, but i really satisfied, my pagerank is up 1 point from 1/10 to 2/10. My site is about me as a web designer, that offering a web design services. For your info, this engine (prchecker) is used to check how popular your site is. It counted could be from how much the traffic of your site, content, and backlinks to your site. Really useful to help you raise up your Google Page Search... For example, Facebook has 9 point for this pagerank... |
